Information we collect

When you submit your email address through our sign-up form, we collect:

• Your email address
• The date you subscribed
• Your answer to one optional question, whether you are selling, buying, or both, if you choose to answer it

We do not collect any other personal information through this form. That answer is the only thing we record beyond your email address and the date: not your location, not your device, not the site or page you came from. If you skip the question, nothing is recorded in its place and your sign-up works exactly the same way. The form also includes one hidden field that is never shown to you and is used only to detect automated submissions.

Cookies and tracking

This Site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to opt out of.

How we use your information

We use your email address solely to:

• Send you updates, news, and announcements about Vadoma
• Respond to you if you contact us directly

We will not use your email for any other purpose without your consent.

We use that answer to see how many people are selling, how many are buying, and how many are doing both, so we know what to prepare first. It does not change what we send you, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to third parties.

We use Buttondown to store our subscriber list and deliver our emails. Buttondown uses your data only to deliver those emails and is bound by its own privacy and security obligations. Your email address is stored there, and so is your answer if you gave one, held as a label on your subscription.

We may also disclose your information if required by law.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you emails and delete or anonymize your address within 30 days, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time.
• Access or deletion. You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@vadoma.com.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your email address from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Children’s privacy

Our Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect email addresses from children under 13.
